Native of Toulouse, France I immigrated to Quebec in 1999 and settled down in Montreal as permanent resident with my family.
During my career, I have worked in France as a Human Resources assistant in the aerospace industry and, in Canada, in the area of career management and transition.
In 2005, I returned to France for professional reasons.
In 2012, I started a two-years online training to become a French second language teacher. I passed my exam in June 2014.
Canada called me back, and in July 2014 I settled down in the National Capital Region.
After a few months experience within language schools, I decided in September 2015 to give one-on-one courses in my house and created this website to promote my services.
In August 2016, as a former immigrant, to make use of my knowledge and expertise I created, La Passerelle, a company providing customized immigration services in Canada and settlement services in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.
I am a true professional known for my great listening skills and empathy.
In September 1993, I graduated in France with a Bachelor degree in foreign languages.
In October 2014, I got my DAEFLE (Diplôme d'Aptitude à l'Enseignement du Français Langue Étrangère) from The Alliance française de Paris.
In October 2014, I attended a familiarization session detailing the CSPS's training programs and oral interaction assessments. Since then I have been helping federal public servants to achieve or maintain their level B/C proficiency.
In 2016, I took the Centre de langue française – Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie Paris Île-de-France online training to become a TEF examinator and since then I have been teaching French to future immigrants and help them to prepare for this French exam.
I am also a supply teacher within elementary schools of Quebec district schools boards.
